Generic Name: Betamethasone dipropionate

Betamethasone is a strong steroid cream for short-term use to treat stubborn, itchy, and inflamed skin conditions when weaker creams don’t work. It can be used by adults, seniors, and children over 1 year old. These includes the following:
Psoriasis
Recalcitrant Dermatoses
Lichen Planus
Discoid Lupus erythematous
Other skin conditions which do not respond satisfactorily to less potent steroids.
For Topical use only.
Creams are best for moist or wet skin areas.
This Betamethasone Cream should NOT be used on babies under 1 year old.
Children can have side effects more easily, so they should use only a small amount and for a short time.
Treatment for children should be as short as possible (about 5 days) and checked weekly. Do NOT cover the treated area.
When used on the face, keep use to about 5 days and do NOT cover it
