For the treatment of secondarily infected traumatic skin lesion (up to 10cm in length or 100cm2 in area) due to susceptible isolates of Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus) and Streptococcus pyogenes (S. pyogenes)
A small amount of Mupirocin (Mupiderm) Ointment should be applied to the affected area three times a day or as prescribed by the physician. The area treated may be covered with a gauze dressing if desired. Patients not showing a clinical response within 3-5 days should be reevaluated
